New research has revealed that many fathers to not feel supported in the workplace to care for their children. How does your practice shape up?
Did you know that three in four working mothers experience pregnancy and maternity discrimination? That despite 77% of working mothers experiencing discriminatory or negative experiences, only around a quarter (28%) raised the issue with their employer, only 3% went through their employer’s internal grievance procedure, and less than 1% pursued a claim to the employment tribunal? What would your staff say?
Did you know that women who are pregnant or returning to work after having a child are more likely to face discrimination than they were 10 years ago? While many HR departments are supportive, research has found that 20% of staff experience harassment or negative comments from colleagues or managers when pregnant or returning from maternity leave. What happens in your organisation?
